Alcoa publishes Guiding Principles for future land use planing
Alcoa is pleased to present the final expanded Guiding Principles for future land use planning at Alcoa’s Anglesea Power Station and Mine Site, that were developed in consultation with the Anglesea community.
These Guiding Principles have been created to help inform the development of the revised Mine Closure Plan and draft Masterplan for power station freehold land.
The final report can be found here.
Alcoa would like to thank all those who provided feedback during both Phase One and Two.
It is expected that Alcoa will release the draft revised Mine Closure Plan early in 2017, and the draft Masterplan for power station freehold land late in 2017, for community consultation. A range of activities will be scheduled to ensure the community and key stakeholders can review the draft plans and have the opportunity to provide further feedback and input.
